Dr. Deep Goel is an alumnus of the prestigious Kasturba Gandhi Medical College Mangalore which is an internationally acclaimed centre of excellence for Medical Education. He was recipient of the Gold Medal for academics during his MBBS.Passionately interested in surgery, he joined the surgery training residency programme at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi in 1992.

Sir Ganga Ram Hospital was actively absorbing the latest medical developments from all over the globe and this exposed Dr. Deep Goel to the fascinating world of Minimal Access Surgery (MAS) while he qualified with the Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) in 1996. His passionate zeal for MAS took him to some of the best centres of surgical training in the world.
